Art Of Well-Being Team Retreat
Holistic Wellness Retreat
A moment of gratitude today as 20 of our team members were provided a one-of-a kind retreat experience over the past 2.5 days at Cedar Valley Retreat Center. Aveda Wellness Educators Helga Hefner, Marlo Boyle and Tracey Lipska delivered a transformational experience over three days that connected our team to the core of Aveda as a company and their holistic lifestyle approach. They experienced everything from nutrition, yoga, meditation, mind-body connection, Ayurveda and so much more.

“Whatever you call into being, Is what you will become”
Simone, Brookfield Nail Designer
“The retreat was amazing! It’s hard to sum up in few words what these three days did for me. I feel renewed. I have a renewed sense of self, a renewed perspective, and I feel more alive and awake, than I have in a long time. I’m so grateful for the entire experience.”
Gretchen, Bayshore Ayurvedic Practitioner
“When you change the way you see the world, your world changes.” Also, having the strength to accept a situation that is out of your control, and adjusting your mindset. Negativity breed negative energy.
Samantha, East Side Hair Designer
“What a wonderful time to escape with some beautiful souls! My experience at the retreat was full of love, wellness, vulnerability, emotion, kindness, gratitude and beauty. After spending the last few months feeling very disconnected, I was grateful to have the time to disconnect from the world so that I could reflect and find myself again. I found peace and remembered who I am. I learned and I was also reminded how to live life in a simpler and healthier way. I have been lucky to attend the retreat 3 times and I would go again in an instant! :)”
Mya, Brookfield Hair Designer
“Happiness is a choice we must make, to change our perspective to the positive instead of all the negative in the world. The only thing you can change is you. So, own the responsibility to change your own perspective.”
Heather, Brookfield Hair Designer
“The physical body is our most important vehicle. If we don’t take care of it, where will we live?”
“We are in charge of our own happiness. And we have the ability to change how situations affect our happiness.”
Lynn, Brookfield Hair Designer
“1. Treat today like it’s your first or last, it will be the best day ever.
2. Everything that has a problem, has a purpose.
3. If you can’t pronounce it, don’t eat it.”
Bridgette, Brookfield Esthetician
“I felt it was really refreshing for the mind, body and soul!”
Lexi, East Side Hair Designer
