Safeguarding Your Health Handwashing

Safeguarding Your Health

The health and safety of guests, service providers, and community is our highest priority. We remain focused on personal and salon hygiene always and will take extra care during this time. We will keep you informed as the situation and public health concerns change daily.

Our Precautions

Taking Your Temperature

We are taking all precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our guests and service providers. We will be taking the temperature of each guest upon arrival with a non-touch thermometer.

Washing Hands

Our service providers are washing our hands per the CDC guidelines between every guest contact, after eating, using the restroom, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Hand sanitizer can be used in between washes.

Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Our team is continuously disinfecting all surfaces, and will be wearing the proper personal protective equipment needed during services.

Disinfecting

Cosmetology and Barbering State boards regulate the proper cleaning and disinfection as mandatory at all times.

Hands Off

Until further notice, we are modifying our salon services to avoid unnecessary hand-to-hand contact. Our service providers will offer a longer shampoo scalp massage instead of the hand ritual, and will no longer be offering makeup refreshes- until further notice. Our team is practicing the “hands off” protocol and may avoid hugging or shaking hands to keep everyone healthy.

We Ask Our Guests:

Stay Home

Try to keep your immune system strong—vitamins, sleep, ample water, healthy diet. If you get sick, stay home. Effective immediately and until further notice, Neroli Salon & Spa is amending certain policies to encourage those who are sick do not expose others.  To encourage guests who are sick to stay home, we are waiving our cancellation policy for guests who are sick.

Arrive Early to Spa Appointments to Shower

We asks all guests to please arrive early in order to provide time to shower prior to your massage service.
Thank you for helping our community stay healthy and safe. Thank you for choosing Neroli Salon & Spa.

CDC Tips

www.cdc.gov

The CDC has shared that for most of the American public, the immediate risk is considered low, below is a list of easy-to-follow practices we will follow to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, as well as seasonal colds and flu:

Clean your hands often

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.

Avoid close contact

Stay home if you’re sick

Cover coughs and sneezes

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
  • Throw used tissues in the trash.
  • Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your handwith a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Wear a facemask if you are sick

  • If you are sick:  You should wear a facemask when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. If you are not able to wear a facemask (for example, because it causes trouble breathing), then you should do your best to cover your coughs and sneezes, and people who are caring for you should wear a facemask if they enter your room. Learn what to do if you are sick.
  • If you are NOT sick: You do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask). Facemasks may be in short supply and they should be saved for caregivers.

Clean and disinfect

  • Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
  • If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.

To disinfect:
Most common EPA-registered household disinfectants will work. Use disinfectants appropriate for the surface.

Options include:

  • Diluting your household bleach.
To make a bleach solution, mix:Follow manufacturer’s instructions for application and proper ventilation. Check to ensure the product is not past its expiration date.
