Where In The World Is The Neroli Team: Daintree National Rain Forest
Leaving Sydney behind wasn’t easy, but at the same time, we were so excited to go to our next adventure in Cairns, which is a three hour flight from Sydney.
The nature in Cairns is dramatically different than Sydney, with mountains partially hidden behind the clouds and lush green tropical trees everywhere. When we entered the Grand Hotel, the staff greeted us friendly.
After arrival, all 14 of us headed to explore the National Rain Forest. We took the sky rail cable way to the top of the mountain, where we saw breathtaking views of waterfalls and mountains soaked in clouds.
We stopped in Kuranda and enjoyed the best hiking experience – the sounds, the earthy smell and panoramic views followed us the entire time. We enjoyed our lunch at the local pub in Kuranda, and afterward, we spent a few hours of wondering and shopping around.
Taking the train back through rain forest was yet another amazing experience.
